Hello out there,
I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I'm an undergraduate student double majoring in Design and Innovation Management and Wood Innovation for Sustainability at Oregon State University. I'm working on my third career, and it is awkward being a college student after twenty three years of entrepreneurship, free lancing, and independent contracting.
I'm enrolled in this course: The Principles of Marketing as a requirement for my degree. I have a lot of questions about the ethical implications of marketing, and if there are people who are marketing intentionally, sustainably, or if there is such a thing?
I'm passionate about board games, fantasy epics (like those written by Brandon Sanderson and Robert Jordan), travel, and motorbikes. I've ridden motorbikes extensively through fifteen US states, the USVI territory of St. Croix, as well as to Canada and Mexico.
I did a study abroad in Italy in June of 2024. The picture above is from one of my favorite places of the trip. Arte Sella, an outdoor museum with incredible sculptures and pavillions to interact with throughout the property. It was a gorgeous day of hiking in the Italian Alps, picking wild strawberries, and enjoying the natural artwork and wild flowers.
